H. Miller

My name is Hailey Miller and I am a graduate from the University of North Texas. Majoring in Media Arts, I was able to cultivate my skills across various forms of media. Through both lecture and technical experience I expanded my knowledge in film, cinematography, audio production, editing, writing and more. During this time, my work was not limited to the classroom. By way of extracurricular activities, I also had the pleasure of serving as numerous positions on the executive board of UNT's Big Brothers Big Sisters. These positions were served over the course of 5 semesters and included: Social Media Chair, Vice President, and President. I also spent a semester as camera operator, at the university's broadcasting network known as North Texas Television, where I delve deeper into the world of live studio production.

In 2022, I completed an internship with the Town of Addison under the department of communications, where I had the opportunity to learn and operate various social media platforms from a professional standpoint. My tasks included: editing event highlights and promotional video content, formatting content calendars, scheduling posts, as well as brainstorming new content ideas and captions. I am currently nearing the end of my graduate program at Stephen F. Austin State University, where I am working on my Masters in Mass Communications to further suit my career aspirations. 

I have been honored to have such opportunities that have allowed me to hone my skills in a field that I have always felt passionate about. I am excited to put my creativity and talents to work in my next steps: connecting the public through captivating content.
