Town of Addison - 2022

Goals

The main goal of this event was to promote restaurants, by encouraging an interactive experience for patrons and residents, while providing entertainment for the community.

Subsequent goals include:

  • Providing entertainment for the community.
  • Build rapport with local businesses.
  • Yield higher success than previous years.

My roll in this workflow was to generate social media content through compiling event highlights from previous years and creating videos that would attract residents and visitors.

Content

Though there was various forms of paid advertisement, my responsibility was social media content. I utilized video editing skills to create appealing content to be shared across social media platforms.

  • Video describing how vendors can sign up to take part in the festival.
  • Video promoting all of the towns upcoming events including Taste Addison.
  • Video teasing the reveal of the event's musical headliner.

Outcome

Taste Addison 2022, had a total of 25 establishments participate, and made $235,021 in admissions which significantly surpassed the previous year’s admissions revenue of $203,868. Below is the breakdown of advertising and promotion efforts.
